- Quantum Powers – A new Controller power, Quantum allows you to alter Space and Time to damage, stun and incapacitate your enemies. Quantum Power wielders have other tricks up their sleeves, such as Quantum Tunneling, allowing your character to quickly phase a short distance away.

- New Operations – New missions for four-player groups, players will travel to alternate realities and through to the past in order to alter the fates of powerful Heroes. Will you help alter the lives of Batman and Superman for good, or evil?

- New Raids – Brand new missions for eight-player groups, the Nexus of Reality Raid and Paradox Wave Raid represent the toughest group challenges yet. Help the Council of Batman or the Council of Lex Luthor alter reality, and defeat the unstoppable Paradox Tyrant to save our own reality.

- New Solo Challenges – In these new Iconic Anomaly simulations, play as either The Huntress or Bizarro in challenging solo missions. As Bizarro, fight your way out of the LexCorp labs where you were cloned. As The Huntress, take on dangerous mobsters to find out valuable information about your family.

- New Race: Cather - Players of any Faction, Class, or gender can now play as the Cathar Species! Cathar can be purchased via the Cartel Market or directly through the Appearance Designer Kiosk on the Republic and Imperial Fleets and Capital Worlds.

- Collections provides a one–stop interface which is accessible from the Inventory Window or Cartel Market and tracks many items available from the Cartel Market, Packs (Cartel and Contraband alike), Cartel Reputation, and even Friends of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, Pre–order, Collectors Edition, live fan events and more.  More details under General.

- Dye Modules are now available via Artifice Crafting, some vendors, and the Cartel Market. They function similar to other item modifications. More details under Items and Economy.

- New Appearance Designer by AestheTech has been added to Dromund Kaas, Coruscant, and the Republic and Imperial Fleets. This kiosk will allow players to modify any feature of their physical appearance, except gender, including taking on a whole new Species. Players can also use the kiosk to access and unlock brand new character customization options. Subscribers get a substantial discount on all Appearance Designer changes.

- Players now have the ability to purchase a Name Change for Character, Legacy, and Guild from the Cartel Market.

Currently most of us Play on the Faeblight RP-PvE server. Join us there! Stay tuned for Guild Details. Currently unless we have 10 fulltime RIFT players we will not be starting a full fledge chapter, but If Ketricel or Mitzie or Panther are still in New Dawn we can reuse that guild that we put so much effort into.

There is now an Other Games section with forums for other games that we currently play or are about to play with each other, but do not have an "official" chapter.  Currently there are forums for The Secret World, Marvel Online, Elder Scrolls Online, and Other Games.  Posts about these specific games have been moved into the appropriate forums to make it easier for people interested in those specific games to find and discuss things together (I still need to arrange an invite in TSW, Todin!).

Confirmed: Game Update 1.5 and Free To Play Launching November 15th!

Today has been a busy day for SWTOR news!  A press embargo was lifted at 12pm Eastern Time and information is starting to come out in regards to the Free to Play option launch as well as Game Update 1.5!

Joveth Gonzalez, Community Manager, confirmed that Game Update 1.5, including the new Free to Play option, will be going live on Thursday, November 15th!


Cartel Coin Cost

Cartel Coins cost has been a hot topic.  BioWare confirmed that the entry point will be  $4.99 for 450 Coins.  which breaks down to 90 Cartel Coins per dollar.  The most expensive pack is $39.99 for 5500 Coins, which breaks down to 137 Cartel Coins per dollar. BioWare has said there will be other packs in the middle of those two price points, but like most online currencies, the more expensive the package, the better the value is.  All coin purchases will be done through buy.swtor.com. Physical Cartel Coin cards will be available from retail stores in the same way that game time can be purchased.

Subscriber Stipend

As stated before, subscribers on the monthly plan will receive 500 coins per month. Players on the three month or six month plans will receive more, however exact numbers were not given.

Other Pieces of Information

One of the big concerns was returning players who could not take advantage of the items or unlocks they had obtained before they unsubscribed. Good news!  Former subscribers automatically receive “Preferred” status which is an intermediate status in between Free and Subscriber.  New players will be able to receive “Preferred” status upon buying anything from buy.swtor.com.  BioWare plans to update the Cartel Shop on a monthly basis with new items for purchase, and services such as character renames and appearance changes are being looked into for the shop. Additionally, players will be able to purchase additional character slots with Cartel Coins shortly after F2P launches, however this wasn’t specified if this will only be for Free to Play players or if subscribers will be able to enjoy also.

This is pretty exciting news for all of our readers who are planning to enjoy all that F2P has to offer and now you can truly decide if you truly want to stay F2P or move over to the subscription model.  More to come as we get more information.
